Use K+Neem

Use K+Neem to safely control pests in your garden.

Neem oil, the active ingredient in K+Neem, is a natural insecticide and can be used to safely control pests on organically grown plants. The oil is derived from the seeds of the neem tree, a native of India, where it has been known for its medicinal properties for generations. Neem is used as an insecticide in agriculture and gardening. Neem is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. The "K" in the K+Neem refers to the neem being soapified, which turns it into an insecticidal type soap. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Shake or stir the K+Neem concentrate solution thoroughly. The oils present in the solution separate when the bottle is kept in storage. Shaking helps ensure an even distribution of the oils through the solution.

2. Combine one part K+Neem solution with 50 parts water and stir the mixture thoroughly. This combination is equivalent to approximately 2.5 oz. of K+Neem solution mixed into 1 gallon of water.

3. Pour the combined water and K+Neem mixture into a spray applicator.

4. Spray the mixture onto a single leaf on each type of plant you are targeting. Wait 24 hours to see if the plant sustains any damage from the oil. Some plants can be damaged or killed by the oils present in K+Neem, so test each plant's sensitivity by applying a small amount of the mixture.

5. Wait until evening to treat plants that receive direct sunlight. Avoid applying K+Neem to plants in direct sunlight, since a longer drying time improves the oil's effectiveness. Treat indoor plants out of direct sunlight during the day.

6. Apply K+Neem by thoroughly spraying leaves and branches of infested plants. The oils in the solution should form a thin layer on both sides of all plant leaves and branches.

7. Re-apply K+Neem on a weekly basis.
