to do to Fix a Failed Window Seal
You will know you have a failed window seal when your window is cloudy. Although it is not a serious problem, it is unsightly. This type of window is double paned or triple paned and sealed to keep moisture out. They are great for insulation purposes. When the seal is broken and moisture builds up between the panes you have three options. Does this Spark an idea?

1. You can have the entire window unit replaced. You can do this yourself or call a window company. If you are a DIYer you will find windows are not difficult to replace. At the end of this article I will include links to window replacement instructions. If you hire someone to do it for you, be sure and get several quotes and references and hire a trustworthy contractor.
2. Your second option is to replace just the glass and have it re-glazed. This is less expensive but may require a bit of effort to find a person to do the re-glazing. Home Depot has a window replacement service and they may be able to give you instructions on to do it yourself too.
3. A third alternative is to use a company such as Crystal Clear Window that will actually repair your existing window. They have equipment to clear out the moisture in your window and repair the seal. These companies are fairly new and may be available in your location. Search online for one in your area.
