Instructions

1. Prepare to apply Bayer Advanced Garden Multi-Insect Killer in the early morning or late evening. This will keep the product away from bees, which are essential to pollination. Do not spray this pesticide into ponds, lakes, streams or fish pools.

2. Remove any dishes used for feeding animals before you start the application. Pets and children should not be allowed in the areas you have treated until the spray is dry.

3. Shake the bottle of Bayer Advanced Garden Multi-Insect Killer well to distribute the ingredients.

4. Connect the bottle to your garden hose. Both the hose and the blue water control valve on top of the Bayer bottle should be in the "Off" position.

5. Turn on your hose at the spigot. If you are spraying for lawn pests, turn the star-shaped control button so the "L" is aligned with the top of the control valve and the valve is aligned with the flat portion of the lock tab. If you are spraying for other pests, turn the button to "G." Then push the button in to open.

6. Point the nozzle of your bottle toward the area you want to treat, then turn the blue valve to the "On" position. Start in the farthest point of the area you are treating, then work backward toward the faucet. Do not step into wet areas you have already sprayed.

7. Spray the undersides of leaves, new shoots and foliage thoroughly. Coat the leaves evenly, but not so heavily that they drip.

8. Spray carrots, radish, sweet corn and tomatoes no more than five times per season. You can spray these vegetables until harvest time.

9. Spray peppers up to one week before harvest time. Do not spray peppers more than six times in one growing season.

10. Spray sunflowers up to 30 days before harvest time, and no more than three times each season.

11. Wait to mow your lawn at least one day after you've applied Bayer Advanced Garden Multi-Insect Killer.

12. Wait at least one hour after application to water all grass, shrubs and ornamentals.
