When early spring is about to roll around and the hint of the seasons changing should always bring to mind that it's time to tune up your lawnmower. Birds singing, warmer days, people stirring around outdoors are the clues that lawn maintenance is about to begin all over again.To make your lawn care as trouble free as possible, it is a good idea to tune up all of your equipment at the beginning of the year for trouble free service the entire season. Instructions
1. Move your mower to an accessible area, if it is light enough to pick up, you may want to place it on a work bench.
2. Next, drain the oil into an acceptable container and place it somewhere to be properly disposed of later on.
3. Re-fill the oil, making sure to fill it to the proper level. Use regular 10W-30 motor oil.
4. Next, remove the fuel supply hose from the tank and drain out the old gas into an acceptable container. The clamp holding the gas line can be removed with a regular screwdriver. Reconnect the hose and re-fill the tank with fresh gasoline.
5. Remove the cover from the air cleaner assembly and replace the old air filter with a new one.
6. Remove the old spark plug with a spark plug wrench or ratchet and socket and replace it with a new one.
