Mixing Malathion in a Sprayer
1. Read the label carefully and thoroughly and follow all label instructions.
2. Put on complete safety gear: suit, goggles and gloves.
3. Clean out backpack or tank sprayer thoroughly before using to avoid contamination.
4. Fill your tank halfway with water.
5. Mix where there is adequate ventilation. Pour pesticide into measuring cup. Then pour specified amount into sprayer. Avoid splashing (again, your goggles should be on).
6. Fill the sprayer three-fourths of the way with water and begin mixing. Add any surfactants that make the pesticide stick at this time.
7. Top off the tank with water and close.
