Use An Extension Cord With A Mosquito Magnet

A mosquito can become deadly.

A Mosquito Magnet is a mechanical mosquito collector placed outside in a populated area. It is considered a long-term repellent that eliminates the need for you to use harmful sprays. The Mosquito Magnet is powered by a lithium-ion battery to emit carbon dioxide and attractant to kill mosquitos. You can use an extension cord and the charger to keep the unit running indefinitely. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Position the Mosquito Magnet in a populated area but close enough to a GFCI outlet so your extension cord can reach.

2. Plug the extension cord into the recharging adapter for the generator batteries. Plug the other end of the cord into the GFCI outlet. Use an electrical cord rated for long-term outdoor use.

3. Place a waterproof gang box around the extension cord and adapter connection, if the connection is exposed to the weather.

4. Secure the extension cord to the ground by taping over it with duct tape or by placing heavy mats on top. This can prevent a tripping hazard.
