Size
The main difference between male and female Labradors is size. The male is both taller and heavier than the female. Males on average are one to two inches taller and between five and 15 pounds heavier.
Territoriality
Male Labradors tend to be more territorial than females and can be more aggressive when defending that territory. This is an instinctual difference between the sexes; however, neutering early will reduce this tendency.
Independence
Female Labradors tend to be more aloof and independent than males. They enjoy the companionship of their owners but do not require constant contact.
Pack Dominance

Marking
