Kill Ants Outside Your Home

Ants are relentless pests.

Ants can be a nuisance outside your home. They attack your garbage and any food, candy or drinks left behind. Here's a simple, yet effective tip to getting rid of ants outside your home. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Start by washing down the patio and cement areas in your yards. Remove all food and garbage located outside, especially around the garbage containers. Clean the empty garbage containers after pick-up day, while they are empty.

2. Cut the lawn and clean the flower beds of dead leaves and debris. Thoroughly water the lawn, trees and all flower beds.

3. Apply Malathion as directed using a water hose attachment sprayer. Allow the malathion to soak in and dry. Usually allowing the lawn and flower beds to dry overnight works best. Malathion also kills mosquitoes, spider mites, white flies and many other insects.

4. Sprinkle the Boric Acid along the fence line and the base on your flower beds. Also, apply on the ground near the garbage cans.

do not kill the ants on site, instead sprinkle directly onto the crawling ants and allow the to carry back to their nest. The powder is odorless and the ants will crawl in it.
