Clean A Toilet With Listerine

Listerine can keep your toilet clean!

Do you have a dirty toilet and no cleaning products at hand? If so, then don't worry. One way to clean a toilet is with Listerine, the popular antiseptic mouth wash. As long as you have this product in your home, you can also clean a toilet. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Put on a pair of rubber gloves. Cleaning the toilet is not a clean job and you don't want to get your hands dirty. After your hands are covered, you'll want to flush the toilet and lift the seat.

2. Pour the Listerine into the bowl. You should use the cap of the Listerine bottle to judge how much to use. Fill it about halfway with Listerine before pouring it into the toilet bowl.

3. Use the toilet brush to scrub the inside of the toilet bowl. Make sure that you scrub every single area of the toilet. Don't neglect the area right underneath the rim of the toilet, which is often the most difficult area of the toilet bowl to clean. Scrub the toilet bowl as hard as you possibly can to ensure ultimate cleanliness.

4. Let the Listerine sit in the water. In order to prevent pets from drinking it, you'll want to close the toilet lid. Many people believe that allowing toilet bowl cleaner to sit in the toilet after you've scrubbed it, it will kill bacteria, although there's no scientific evidence that support these claims.

5. Flush the toilet after about 15 minutes. If the toilet still appears dirty, then you can try to repeat the entire process again.
