Cover A Mosquito Bite

Loose powder gives cover-up makeup staying power.

Mosquito bites leave swollen, red marks on your skin. In the summertime, mosquitoes come out in droves, and if you do not properly protect yourself from them, in a matter of weeks you may find yourself speckled with unsightly spots on your arms, legs and even your face, leaving you feeling self-conscious about your appearance. While you can't make the bite marks vanish overnight, you can disguise them a bit while they're healing.

Instructions

1. Ensure that the skin at the site of the bite is not broken before you try to conceal it. While you're waiting for the skin to heal, put a small amount of antibacterial cream on it, to help speed up healing, then cover the bite with a small, clear bandage.

2. Wash the bite with mild soap and water then allow the area to dry for a few minutes. Apply a small dab of concealer or hypoallergenic tattoo cover-up on the bite and gently pat it to spread the color over the bite. Re-apply in small amounts until the bite mark is evenly covered.

3. Dip the tip of our index finger into loose powder and gently pat it over the bite mark to further cover it. Powder will help set the concealer or tattoo cover-up and help it last longer. Carry loose powder with you and apply it to the bite mark as needed throughout the day.
